Throughout her twenty-year career in media and publishing, Ms. Taylor cultivated deep relationships in the luxury brand space, ultimately developing an innate and keen intuition for what appeals to the consumer to drive business on behalf of her clients. In her last corporate role, Taylor was the former Publisher and Chief Revenue Officer of VIVmag, a leading women's luxury lifestyle media brand, and home of its revolutionary, 100% all-digital app, award-winning magazine and its associated properties.
Prior, she was the Publisher and Chief Revenue Officer of UPTOWN Magazine for five years where she grew annual advertising revenue and expanded the readership from a regional base to a nationally circulated ABC-audited publication. Taylor has also held executive sales and leadership roles for BLACK ENTERPRISE, Gotham, Hamptons and Los Angeles Confidential Magazines and Odyssey Couleur travel magazine - initially sharpening her professional identity at corporate establishments by way of Price Waterhouse, Lord & Taylor, and WorldCom.
Ms. Taylor’s work in the industry has earned her a number of prestigious recognitions. In 2017, she was presented the 2017 Young, Gifted & Black Entrepreneur Award for “Millennium Business Strategy.” In 2011, she received the Media, Marketing and Public Relations Advocate of the Year, for her commitment as a community leader in PA for mentoring young girls. Additionally, she is a 2010 proud recipient of the Thurgood Marshall Prestige Award for outstanding Leadership, Excellence and Dedication to community services. She has also been recognized as a past recipient of the top women in business in NYC award - Women to Watch in Corporate America.
