Jocelyn is a 25+ year veteran disrupter and visionary in the media and magazine publishing industries. Ms. Taylor brings strategic brand business development and sales leadership to senior teams within luxury, lifestyle, DE&I, SaaS driven technology, and entertainment industries. She maintains an extensive working Rolodex and personal relationships with a portfolio of brands ranging from Fortune 500 and non-profit organizations to Talent represented from C-Suite Executives, Influencers and Celebrities.

In her former corporate roles, she was Publisher and Chief Business Officer at RBdigital’s (formerly Zinio for Libraries PLUS), award-winning publication, VIVMag, a leading women’s luxury lifestyle app media brand. Preceding this appointed position, she distinguished herself as Publisher and Chief Business Officer at UPTOWN Magazine where she was instrumental in growing annual advertising revenue and expanding readership from a regional base to a nationally circulated ABC-audited publication. Ms. Taylor has also held executive sales and leadership positions for Black Enterprise magazine, niche publications including Gotham, Hamptons and LA Confidential, and Odyssey Couleur travel magazines -- initially sharpening her professional identity at corporate establishments by way of Price WaterhouseLord & Taylor, and WorldCom

 

Jocelyn’s stellar career in Media has earned her several prestigious recognitions. In 2017, she was presented the 2017 Young, Gifted & Black Entrepreneur Award for “Millennium Business Strategy.” In 2011, she received the Media, Marketing and Public Relations Advocate of the Year Award for her commitment as a community leader in PA for mentoring young girls. In 2010 she was awarded the Thurgood Marshall Prestige Award for outstanding Leadership, Excellence and Dedication to community services. She has also been recognized as a past recipient of the top women in business in NYC award - Women to Watch in Corporate America.
