JRT Multimedia, LLC.
In 2010, Jocelyn R. Taylor found JRT Multimedia, LLC, a full-service, boutique strategic brand marketing, event and media agency that serves the luxury and premium lifestyle industries. As the Chief Brand Media and Revenue Officer, she specializes in brand architecture bringing a proven knowledge and success of disrupting and impacting top organizations to create monetization within a variety of industries ranging from non-profit, retail and telecommunications to magazine publishing, entertainment, media, branded content video newsroom and SaaS - integrating digital technology, marketing, analytical and social media methodologies.
Most recently, Taylor is proud to announce LayerUpWithJRT ™, a new solution-focused business initiative of JRT Multimedia. Together with her Managing Partner, Chandra McQueen, they launched this female-inspired empowerment social responsibility campaign and “call-to-action" Global movement in Park City, Utah during the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. This (proactive) multi-tiered curriculum initiative includes Education (Speaking Engagements and Celebrity co-hosted Master Classes), Corporate Partnerships (Events, Mixers and Town Halls, etc.), Activism (Youth and Community), Merchandise (Co-branding opportunity to place company logo on the #LayerUpWithJRT Female/Male Tee Shirts, Mugs, and other collateral displaying positive messaging and a Web Series, “LayerUpAndStayWoke - NYC”.
In the prevailing wake of the #MeToo and the Time’s Up movements…there is a conscious awakening about victims of discrimination, sexual harassment and misconduct professionally and personally. As double standards are being shattered, it is important now more than ever for women and girls to become or stay “layered up” as a directive to be instinctively empowered not to “fall victim” to intimidation OR disrespect and especially NOT afraid to speak up immediately! The premise is that when we “layer up,” we are “Poised, Positioned and Prepared” to protect against the proverbial negative behavioral elements of life (i.e., discrimination, exploitation, insecurity, fear, bullying, unwelcome or offensive advancements of a sexual nature, harassment, quid pro quo, etc.).
Additionally, it provides an opportunity for corporate brands, particularly those that target female consumers, to mandate social responsibility and awareness within their brand messaging and elevate their respective mission statements into the movement. Now is the time to get involved at the ground level and be a part of JRT Multimedia’s global narrative of change.
